Denim for all, dunes for one percenter

Dress the world in jeans and you'll be able to get away from the maddening crowds by moving to Malibu;
Jeans guru Peter Koral said he’d always wanted to live on Malibu’s Broad Beach Road because of the area’s wide beaches. So when he found a half-finished home there, he bought it in 2008 for an undisclosed sum and “put my finishing touches on it.”
But that wasn't popular in his own home;
Then he hit resistance. “My kids are not allowing me to give up on our house that everybody grew up in,” said Mr. Koral, the co-founder of the premium denim brand 7 For All Mankind, which was purchased by VF Corp. in 2007 for $775 million.
All mankind is pretty happy, it seems. Which is how one gets rich in a capitalist society; find a need for denim and fill it with millions of lower-body halves.
So he’s putting the Broad Beach Road house on the market for $25 million with Sotheby’s International Realty.
Not for all.
With a distinctive red copper roof, the four-level, six-bedroom home measures nearly 6,000 square feet. The property has about 60 feet of ocean frontage, said listing agent Amy Alcini, and nearly every part of the house has ocean views—even the staircases and gym.
Maybe some Hollywood Communist will buy it.
