The Belfast Telegraph reports on
the problems at McDonald's;
A fall in customers at its US restaurants contributed to a 13% decline
in profits at McDonald's over the second quarter of this year.
That's on a decline of a mere 2% of sales. Since the purpose of McDonald's, as it is for any business, is to make profits,
what to do, what to do?
McDonald's is looking at ways to make its menu more flexible, such as
serving popular breakfast items all day and letting people build their
own burgers by tapping a touchscreen.
Our bold, of course, in the above.
