In Norway, you can't make an omelet without a break from the farm lobby;
Norwegian farmers on Thursday morning began a blockade of the distribution of eggs to the nation's grocery stores, in protest against the Government's offer of farm subsidies for next year.
Distribution from all the nine egg packaging plants across the country has been stopped.
The Government has offered the farmers an increase of NOK 150 million, an offer the farmers call "shameful", and which is only ten per cent of what the farmers had asked for....politikk eller egget?
