Euro-area finance chiefs poured scorn on the Greek government’s
decision to call a referendum on the terms of the country’s bailout and
said the door was closing to any further discussion on resolving a
standoff over aid.
.... “It’s a very sad decision for Greece because
it’s closed the door to further talks, a door that was still open in my
mind,” Jeroen Dijsselbloem, the Dutch finance minister who chairs the
meetings, told reporters as he arrived.
The 'crisis' has only been going on for five years, but this is your last chance...until the next one.
Greece should reply, and maybe is doing so, "You EU's are a predatory lender. We relied on your judgement to lend us money only if we could pay it back. We can't, and you are to blame.
ReplyDeleteYou can partially atone for your viscious nature by giving, not lending, to us more money. It is just paper. You print it up in the back room. We have seen the room. Stop opressing us.
