Bébé Maman dit: 'C'est la vie'.
Segolene
stands by her man;
... the previous romantic partner of Francois Hollande and mother of his
four children, Segolene Royal, used an interview with news broadcaster
BFM TV on Thursday to shoot down the claim [of Valerie Trierweiler--who replaced her in the French President's affections, before she herself was, in turn, replaced by actress Julie Gayet--that M. Hollande secretly despises 'the poor'], saying it was completely
without merit.
"It's rubbish, it's the exact opposite of the political commitment of a
great leader of the left," said Royal, who is currently a minister in
Hollande's cabinet. "One must judge politicians by their acts."
And besides, Segolene would like to keep her job.
