McGinn is described in the same Seattle PI story as, An attorney, neighborhood activist and Sierra Club chapter leader — and once youthful aide to a fiery populist Oregon congressman....
And, did he mean well? His agenda;
...a move into rail transit, city-sponsored preschool and the citizen police commission....Oh yeah, he prevented a grocery store from opening in West Seattle because they wouldn't pay their employees as much as the Mayor thought was right.
No one can accuse him of excessive self-awareness.
