Hillary Clinton, wannabe champion of everyday Americans ... used to have other aspirations;

Chelsea and Hillary Clinton are heading down South to Little Rock, Ark., with luminaries from the fashion world, to honor Oscar de la Renta as the "ultimate statesman of American fashion."

Just ask any K-Mart shopper.

The party celebrates the "Oscar de la Renta: American Icon" exhibit at the Clinton Presidential Center, which runs until December.

Though Chelsea seems to have moved on;
