A spectre is haunting Britain

And it's the ghost of Walter Mondale chanting; 'I'll raise your taxes if I'm elected.'
GREEN Party leader Natalie Bennett pledged yesterday to increase the top rate of income tax to 60p in the pound if her party wins power.
She said the measure would bring in an extra £2 billion a year for public services and act as a disincentive to firms paying “excessively high” salaries to senior staff.
Plus;
The Greens have also proposed a “wealth tax” of 2 per cent a year targeting people worth more than £3 million, who would be expected to declare their own assets.
There's a winning platform, if we've ever heard one.
