The [Norwegian] Government's new Labour Law increases the retirement age to 72, allows for more temporary employment, as well as activity requirements for welfare recipients. The Conservative Party (Høyre) and the Progress Party (FrP) have agreed with the government's supporting parties, the Christian Democrats (KrF) and the Liberal Left (Venstre) on a new labour law. The parties have already negotiated for about a month, and reached a conclusion that was presented on Thursday.and Norway has immense oil wealth that supposedly pays for their welfare state.
