Vaya con Google

Herb Stein famously warned that when something is unsustainable, it won't be;
Google said it was closing its news-linking service in Spain next week due to new legislation under which publishers can charge search engines for using their content ....
Not only using the Spanish content, but linking to it. Meaning that those Spanish publishers will see less traffic to their sites and their advertising revenue will be smaller.

Now that the Spanish news services have what they think they wanted.

  1. The underlying problem is that there is so little news in the news. Usually, the title of the article provides all one really needs to know. If you provide all of the titles, the links, then there is little need to follow the links.
