Switzerland just decided against a minimum wage law--they have an unemployment rate of 3.2%.
Czechoslovakia has a minimum wage;
The Czech Social Democratic party is advertising for the upcoming European elections using sex at work.
According to advert by the party of Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, sex at work is a fine thing and nothing to be frowned upon, but it is a pleasure that many unemployed people in the country are unable to enjoy - because they do not have jobs.
....The message then continues: "It is a shame that there are half a million people that don't have jobs." The promotion is supposed to reflect the fact that eight percent of Czech citizens are without a job. The promotion is meant to be a rallying call for supporters of the Czech Social Democratic Party (CSSD).
....Sobotka who has been Prime Minister of the Czech Republic since 2014 and chairman of the Czech Social Democratic Party (CSSD) since 2011 also gave his personal support to the promotional video saying it was a great idea and adding: "I don't think one needs to be over necessarily prudish. The spot brings home the reality of unemployment."
That suggests a reason for the 8% unemployment rate.
