They won't have Eliot and Anthony to kick around anymore

New Yorkers have a little dignity this morning after both Anthony Weiner--fifth place in the mayoral primary--and Eliot Spitzer--loser to Manhattan borough president Scott Stringer in the comptroller primary--have conceded there are better men than they out there.

As the Daily News put it, In the end, they were the pervs the city didn’t deserve.

Let's hope that in Spitzer's case his role in helping to make the financial crisis as bad as it was with his jihad against AIG played some role in his defeat.
