Sugar cane in the day, ballet in the evening...marvelous

We paraphrase Tracey Ullman introducing I'm All Right, Jack to the Turner Classic Movie audience a few years ago. Which was the first thing we thought of with this NBC story of Americans dancing with the Cuban ballet troupe.  Not that there's ever been a shortage of deluded Americans and Europeans willing to overlook the poverty in Cuba for the dancin fools for ya;

It should also be noted that Havana's ballet school was founded in 1948 by Alicia Alonzo. That's long before Fidel and Raul came to power in 1959. And, was Fidel ever one to turn down a pretty face?
